I am not sure if you need to go through the entire exercise of decompiling and searching for URLRequest and other methods just to find whether your SWF is self contained or not.
You can always download all the SWF games from the website, unplug your internet connection and try running the SWFs individually.
If the SWF works successfully, the SWF is self contained if not it requires a network resource.
Isn't that what you are trying to accomplish? Please correct me if I am wrong.

I'd have to do a complete playthrough of the game to see if the swf is loading anything externally or not. It's much faster to decompile it and run a search, assuming i'm searching for the correct terms.
In that case the different load methods you might want to look out for are

Also you might want to look out for netstream and netconnect objects, In case the SWF uses any videos
