An error has occurred, blah blah blah

I'm having some sort of issue with my PE7.  I've gone over the forum, READ THIS LINK http://forums.adobe.com/message/1755736#1755736 and tried the remedies, but I'm still getting the same error.  I've not quite done all of http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402373.html because I hadn't had to go to that extreme before.

I have a smallish project with a few edits and changes.  I am attempting to burn my project with DVD menues to a desktop folder so that I can then copy it using Nero.  I've done this successfully in the past.  Then, after not havng done one this way for a while, I can't seem to get it to work.

I thought the culprit was that I didn't have enough disk space.  Over the last few days, I've deleted something like 50 G worth of old video files - I now have 120 G free.  That should be more than enough.  But it keeps doing the same thing - it gets to 99% complete,  and then it bombs.  It exports fine.  I even tried to burn to an external drive - same result.  I'd attach the log file, but I don't see  away to do this, off hand, and it's 3 pages long in Word.

Nero was not open at the time.  My virus program was not running.  I don't think.  But certainly not every time I tried it.

      Specs: AMD ATHLON 64   2.19 g PROCESSOR.  1.87 G of RAM  XP SP 2

The only thing I've not done since I eliminated the last 30 G or so was do a defrag, but I seriously doubt that's going to make a difference.

      Any suggetions would be appreciated.
