I'm new to contribute and using the free 30 day demo. I need
to allow users to post pdf files to the web site from their
computers - but I can't figure out if Contribute can do this. I
added a link to a pdf on my local computer - but the link uses a
hard reference to my hard drive c:/somedirectory/some.pdf How do
users set up new links to new pds that only reside on their
computer - that need to be shared with all uses of the web site??
After doing some more testing..I found my answer. I created a
connection to a web site running on IIS, added a pdf link from my
computer onto the home page, and then published the page. I see
Contribute does upload the file into a 'documents' directory (that
it creates) and creates the appropriate url to the file.
