    Email Template

    kevin_creativebuzz
I'm a newbie, so be gentle!!
I'm trying to set up an email template with numerus images and links and am stumped. Where do I begin? Is there a way to have the page self contained (including images) or does the template always have to search for attached images? Don't really know where to start, as I say I'm a newbie!!!

      Thanks

First, it's best to use as few images as possible. Whatever images you do
use should be hosted on a web server, and linked to from your email template
with full URLs. In other words, say you have web hosting for your domain at
www.kevinsdomain.com. You would upload your image to that server, perhaps in
their own directory named "email", so that the image can now be viewed at
this location: http://www.kevinsdomain.com/email/image.gif. Then, in your
email template, use that full path to call your image:
          http://www.kevinsdomain.com/email/image.gif.

Links also need to be full paths, like
          http://www.outsidedomain.com/outsidelink.htm.

          Hope that helps,

Have you considered using a third-party mailing house, like
            http://www.mailchimp.com?
