Have you tried the Quick Selection Tool? It doesn't make a path (directly) but it can be used to quickly select a more or less uniform background after which you can delete it.

Mylenium Jul 2, 2010 7:42 AM (in response to jord_)I suggest you forget all about paths and classical selections and read up on green screen/ blue screen techniques as they are used for film effects. If done right, this then would allow you to use color range selections or specific keying plug-ins like Primatte to streamline this. Everything else is not going anywhere, if you want to avoid manual work. Automated tracing (Auto Trace in Illustrator for instance) is much to imprecise as will be selections, if there is not enough distinctions between foreground and background....

Support 64-bit.... the old trial only support 32-bit.
