I'm trying to do an animation where puzzle pieces fly onto the stage and eventually come together to form a 3D spinning ball.
The end result will look similar to this static image:
Does anyone have any good ideas about how to get started or a tutorial out there?
You will need an actual 3d application for that.
You could kind of fake it by using Shatter on a layer that looked like a sphere in a precomp and then using Time Remapping to reverse the timing of that precomp.
