    Cannot update Reader

I am running Windows XP.  I have both Internet Explorer 7.05730.13 version as well as Mozilla Firefox version 3.6.6.  I have been tying to update Reader 9.3 and am getting the following message at the conclusion of the download

A box appears with "Click ok again or enter alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Adbe rdr 930_en_us.msi

In the box below appears this address: C:\program files|adobe|reader 9.0\setup files\{AC76BA86-7AD&-1033-7B44-A93000000001}\1

It has the option to click okay, cancel or browse.  When I click okay I get a message box that says c:\program files|adobe|Adberdr930_en_us.msi cannot be found.

I have tried to uninstall reader 9.0 thru the Add/remove programs in the control panel.  It shows reader 9.3.2 as well as (underneath) Adobe Reader  9.3.2 - CPSID_53951  (which was installed on 4/16/2010).  When I try to remove Adobe Reader it gives me the info in the above box.  Also it does not give me an option to remove the update installed on 4/16/2010.  It says "this update cannot be removed".

What can I do to get this folder Adbe rdr 930_en_us.msi so that updates can be installed?

Additionally I cannot view any PDF files as of this time.

Thanks for any help you can give.
