Hey guys, i need helpppp.... Firstly, I understand that another person has expressed his problems with this in another dicussion but what I realise is that it have not really been solved yet. I have the exact problem like him. I import avchd files into my ppro cs5... Everything is good... Video is smooth but only audio has problems... The Audio sounds good but during playback be it in the source monitor or the timeline, you will be able to hear tis glitch, this 'popping' sound.... The audio level is not affected by it... And when I use windows media player or vlc player to play the avchd file, there is totally no glitch... Also, when you export the file, you can able to hear the glitch.... HELP!!!

Work through all of the steps (ideas) listed at http://ppro.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting
If your problem isn't fixed after you follow all of the steps, report back with ALL OF THE DETAILS asked for in the FINALLY section, the questions at the end of the troubleshooting link
IIRC that other thread properly, that OP found that the "popping" sound was only in the playback, and did not appear in his/her Exported file. Please correct me, if I am wrong.
As far as the "why," there were some speculation, but I do not recall anyone coming up with an iron-clad reason.
