How to render an age object in DataGrid

    s_puyear

I cannot figure out how to render elements of an age object (ie. 5 years 3 months 6 days etc.) in a Flex DataGrid.  The object is in an ArrayColection and he data is coming from a ColdFusion component.  However, when I try to display elements of the object in a DataGrid, I merely get [object Object] displayed.  I tried adding a renderer to the column to no avail.  I know the data is coming across OK because I can display it outside the DataGrid.

Has anyone faced this before?  If so, can you offer ideas on how you overcame this?

      Thanks!

you need to specify labelfield or labelfunction in datagrid column accordingly

say grid is displaying 5 years so data might be coming as field "years" then the labelfield should be "years" in this column

so check your arraycollection holding age object....
