Ctrl+U or edit Preferences/code format, uncheck the boxes “override case of”1 person found this helpful
It was checked for "attributes" - what possible use is this? Is it a default setting? Another employee installed Dreamweaver for me so I'm not sure if he inadvertently turned it on.
In many cases, web servers usually are very senstive to all upper case letters. Best to keep all html source as in lower case, the better.
I understand why it's not working (web servers) - I just wanted to know if this was a Dreamweaver default preference and what it would be used for.
Don't know what use it is, some developer saw the need for it somewhere and there they are... My installation completed with the boxes all un-checked so I couldn't tell you how or why yours got checked.
