    audio upmixing?

I'm making a video for my sisters bridal shower coming up in a couple weeks using adobe premiere elements 2.0. Whenever i try to burn my video to dvd a notification box pops up reading "audio upmixing is not allowed. cancelling the operation" the dvd will continue burning after clicking ok or exiting the alert, but after burning is complete, when i put the dvd in a dvd player the audio on my title page and scene selections isnt there? I've never had trouble having music play with my templates before... I have no idea whats up or how to fix this, any ideas or suggestions would be so helpful. thanks!

What is the source for the audio on your menu page? Is it a WAV or an MP3? Is it a file downloaded from a site like iTunes?

Also, have you gone to Windows Update and checked for non-critical updates? These updates can include important drivers, including things like RealTek Audio updates.

As DVD Audio is 48KHz 16-bit PCM/WAV (or fully DVD-compliant DD AC3), I would first convert all Audio source files to those specs first. If you do not have an audio editing program, the free Audacity, will do this quickly and easily.

            Good luck,
