    IE (PC) rendering foo -- how can I fix it?

    ednagler
      These pages render just fine in IE (Mac), Firefox, Safari -- in IE (PC) the text drops way down -- almost to the bottom of the left-hand sidebar -- leaving a befuddling white space. On the Issues page the space appears below the signature pic; on the Endorsements page, it begins above the pix.

      I'm using Dreamweaver 8/Mac.

      Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

          For this page 'issues.html' (and I suspect your second page is a
          similiar senario)

          just grab hold of everything inside of 'story' <div>

          from

          <div class="story">
          <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" summary="">
          <tr valign="top">
          <td width="48%" class="storyLeft">

          Down to the end -

          our neighbors in Goleta and Santa Barbara.</p>
          </td>
          </tr>
          </table>
          </div>

          and then insert that inside the 'feature' <div> after the table as shown
          below

          <td width="45%" valign="top"> </td>
          <td width="22%" valign="top"> </td>
          </tr>
          </table>

          <!-- INSERT AT THIS POINT -->

          <div class="story">
          <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" summary="">
          <tr valign="top">
          <td width="48%" class="storyLeft">

            Osgood -- your fix worked beautifully on the Issues page. The code is different on the Endorsements page -- I just bunged in a design that worked and didn't pay much attention to the code as I went -- and my cut-and-pastes are creating all sorts of results but not the right one.

            Could I be a pest and ask you to take a look? I'm so grateful for your help.
