Are you handing the list component directly to the printjob, rather than one of its containers?
I think so. This is my code
I tried to pass an arrayCollection that was bound using the communitymodellocator.getinstance().events, but it complained saying that arrayCollection is not a UIComponent:
Here is the error I received:
mx.collections:ArrayCollection to an unrelated type mx.core:IUIComponent
I remember reading that I can pass a UIComponent directly into the FlexPrintJob and that there was supposed to be a way to print all the items (even if they weren't visible on the screen).
Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?
I would say that you should use PrintDataGrid instead of List.
Second, before printing you should wait until your invisible component will be rendered- place a callback on the creationComplete event.
