I've made a video player that plays .flv files and H.264 encoded .mp4 files. I've made a feature that allows the user to seek ahead of a buffered region while the video is streaming that seems to work fine. When I seek ahead with a .flv file, everything works like a charm. When I seek ahead with the H.264 .mp4 files, everything seems to work fine except that the video is consistently about .5-1 second behind the audio. Has anyone found this to be a problem before and have an idea as to what might be the problem? Thanks a lot for the help. Greatly Appreciated!
Has anyone experience this before? I'm wondering if it has to do with the audio bitrate vs the video bitrate. It only presents itself as an issue after I close the netStream and open a new stream at the appropriate offset given by my media server. Any help is greatly appreciated!
