I have been playing with a Latitude XT2 with Windows7 and AIR SDK2. What seems pretty clear is that there is a bottleneck from the hardware to the software and, if interacting intensively with more fingers, the events start queueing and generating a rather inconvenient delay. The bottleneck could be either in Windows7, in the N-Trig drivers or in AIR. It would be nice to know where the bottleneck is.
It would also be great to know if other multi-touch solutions (ie. with 3M display) are affected by it leaving multi-touch in Adobe AIR rather useless.
Thanks a lot for any information, chr
This could be due to a known input performance bug with 2.0.2 (Windows only). We've fixed this in our internal builds and plan to release an update shortly. If you have a test app available, please feel free to send it to me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I can verify it against our daily builds.
Hi Chris, I presume that would be a pretty easy thing to test without my app but if I can make a simple test for you I will send it over.
