    Sequence setting mahem

    therayman Community Member

I can't seem to remove the sequence playback settings which I originally set up for playback on second monitor. CS4 can't keep up and the result is too slow and more of an irritation that an assistance. If I turn the feature off (all setting to none) nothing changes and it seems I'm now stuck with it. I tried restarting Premier and the OS. I am using CFHD format clips which do run in real time in CS3 but unfortunately I had some scenes edited before I abandoned CS4. These don't work in CS3 and I don't really want to have to do them all again.

I would upgrade to CS5 if it wasn't so prohibitively expensive here in New Zealand (nearly $2000.)

      Any ideas

You mean you're using two monitors and it doesnt work anymore like you can't reset the workspace ?  like you want to duplicate in new version what you had in old version?

Why not start from scratch with new version with one monitor and see how things work and if your system seems to be OK with that , then you can add the second monitor and change your workspace...    ?? Maybe I don't understand the question though.....

If it IS about using 2 monitors and workspace with new verison of program, try to add more info about what you're using as computer , graphic card, monitors, program version, project settings, video specs, etc... ??

            No

I always work with several monitors. The workspace is not a problem its the

additional hardware selected in sequence settings/playback settings. It

simply won't turn off. When disconnected from the additional hardware it

puts the preview on my second monitor. Turn that off so that the software

only has one monitor and it stops but it comes back after a restart running

two monitors. I have told it not to. It just won't listen.
