I think the problem here is with the path you are assigning to the image tag...Try to get the path of the image on the hard drive correctly relevant to the AIR app..using the Application.resolvePath or Application.usersDirectory ...something like that ..read the AIR docs...
Thanks Bhasker for your kind concern and I am sorry for that delay. I have tried "file:///C:/flag.png", "C:\\flag.png" and "C:/flag.png" but nothing worked. Although something like this worked perfectly on the same windowsApplication <mx:Image source="file:///C:/flag.png" autoLoad="true"/>.
So I don't think it's a path problem. Have any body successed to add an image to the richtexteditor in AIR?
Any help will be much apprecitated.
I just need to know if it is possible to add an img tag to htmlText properity of the RichTextEditor when working with AIR?
I have just found out the answer. AIR ignores img tags in HTML content in ActionScript TextField objects. This is to prevent possible phishing attacks.
There is also a bug on this with more info:
And thanks to my friend James Ward.
