I have recently changed an external hard disk for a larger one. The first one had the letter G:\, de second one is H:\. Since then I cannot update Adobe. Everytime I get the message: invalid station G:\. I have tried to remove Adobe, but that failed. Same message. I have tried to remove Adobe in the register with regedit, but that failed to. I have tried to rename H:\, but that also failed. I have reinstalled Windows 7, no success. I have run a RegClean, no success. I am at my wit's end.
I hope someone can help me? I cannot read any Adobe documents anymore.
I just had a problem similiar and reconnected my F:\ drive and it went through. Just attach the G:\ drive and see what happens.
Thank you nr47. I cannot do that now, I am in the
middle of a move and I have already packed the other hard disk. But as soon as I am settled in my new home, I will try your suggestion.
You were right, nr47. I found the old one, connected it to the pc and I was able to download Adobe Reader again.
Everything is in order now.
Thank you very much for your sound advice.
