ON my wife's computer, old XP running windows MS Office 2007/Outlook 2007 she completed an upgrade to Adobe Reader as offered. Right after this she cannnot open Outlook, it starts to open and then shuts immediately. I have removed all of the Adobe software(with no help), I then removed the Outlook 2007 and reloaded fresh and still no help. I have no idea where to go from here?? Anybody else have this problem recently??
Everything else seems to work OK....just no Outlook opening.....
The error window says " Cannot start Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window."
I do not have a recent system backup!!
Any thoughts appreciated
It is difficult to know if this is caused by the Adobe Reader update, or this week's Windows updates, or something else.
The first think I would try if you can open Outlook in safe mode (it should be somewhere in the Start Programs menu).
Next I would try to ask in the Microsoft Outlook newsgroup.
