Having trouble with a number of .mov files which I shot using my Panasonic Stills camera onto a Secure Digital (SD) Card. After the import, the video plays back, but not the audio. There is a slight crackle or 'blip' type noise, where it begins to play the audio for half a second or so, and after this it simply cuts out. Very strange. It's happening with all of the Mov files which I shot from the camera.
I'm using a Trial Version of Premiere Pro CS5, and have all of the latest QuickTime updates. Mac OS X 10.6.4
Any help with this would be really appreciated, the files play just fine using QuickTime outside of Premiere, so I'm not sure what the problem could be?

Your camera probably records the audio to an MPEG audio flavor; the trial of Premiere does not permit import, editing, or export of any MPEG assets, video or audio. You can try converting the footage into something more trial-version-edit-friendly, like DV MOV, but you'll need to rely on a third-party application to do that.
