    Force display of error string toolitip?

    Handycam Level 1

      I have a simple form with a Text Input and a Button.  When the button is clicked, it checks to make sure there is something in the input.

      If yes, it proceeds.  If no, it sets the errorString property of the text input to a message.

      Problem is, the user needs to roll over the text field to see the error.  It like to force the display of the tooltip in my button handler.  How can I do this?

      protected function saveButton_clickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void
                     {
                          if (saveName.text != "<empty>") {
                               fileName=saveName.text;
                               dispatchEvent(new Event("SAVE_OK", true));
                               PopUpManager.removePopUp(this);
                          } else {
                               saveName.errorString = "Recipe name cannot be blank.";
                          }
                     }
