What type of camcorder is your video from and how did you get it into your computer? Have you ensured that your Premiere Elements project settings match this camcorder?
Note that Premiere Elements can not work with video from Flip style pocket camcorders or video from still cameras.
well i dont use a camcorder i use our digital camera and i get the footage off of it to my computer by a sd card. my webcam is connected by usb so it is direct upload from premiere.
You haven't given me enough information to help you.
However, if you're using video from a still camera, you will need to convert it to DV-AVIs before you will be able to edit it successfully in Premiere Elements, per the FAQs to the right of this forum.
