Try using event.toString(), instead. That should get you all of the event's details.
Thanks, but I do not want to display **all event's details** in Alert popup.
That might be appropriate on console in debug mode but not in the
UI element visible by end user.
Well, why don't you try reading the docs for IOErrorEvent and choose what event properties to display yourself?
I guess you do not understand the issue. The issue is: event.text holds the entire error message. And that message string can be dumpped on the console using, say, trace().
However same message string, see code snippet, when displayed using Alert.show() truncated. It is nothing to do with what properties I want to see.
It has something to do with Alert control or message content or something else.
