First of all, I am new at this. I have an image that links to another page when clicked. What do I need to do for the image to turn to opacity (50%) when mouse is over it?
With the CSS opacity property for browsers that support it and IE filters for the ones that don't.
Of you could make a second (rollover) image in your graphics application, set the layer opacity to 50% and save for web as a transparent PNG.
