JJMack Jul 23, 2010 9:25 AM (in response to Creative1977)Post the action. I lot depends on which save feature you used and how the save step was recorded.
When you record a step like "Save as..." you want to select the directory you want to save the file in. However you do not want to change the file name field in any way. You can use the file tpe pull down menu to select a file type like Jpeg. When that step is played back the current documents filename will be used during the save. If while recording the step you made and change to the filename field that filename will be recorded into the action. When that save step is played it will alway want to save the file into the filename that was recorded into the action.

Zeno Bokor Jul 25, 2010 11:46 PM (in response to Creative1977)You cannot because the Batch command only overwrites the Save As command while the SFW is an export plug-in. The two might function similarly but they're very different under the hood.

Creative1977 Jul 26, 2010 12:34 AM (in response to Zeno Bokor)Hey Zeno, I know that... By the way how do I get “SFW Panels Options Button Sub-Panel” to modify the "Overwrite Behavior"?

Zeno Bokor Jul 26, 2010 1:11 AM (in response to Creative1977)Sorry, i don't quite understand your question. Not much can be done about the fact that the Actions panel also records the filename used in the SFW dialog but i know that this isn't the case anymore with CS4/5 which record only the folder used

MTSTUNER Jul 26, 2010 1:31 AM (in response to Creative1977)Which version of photoshop?
If you have cs2 (looks like cs2 from your screenshots) or older,
you can use image ready and save yourself a whole lot
of hassle.
If you have image ready, take a look at this post, toward the bottom.

Creative1977 May 17, 2012 10:52 PM (in response to Jeff Arola)Hi R_Kelly,
Currently I am using Adobe Photoshop CS5 now. When I made the original post, I think I was using CS2 at that time.

14. Re: Disabling Replace Option in Actions
Jeff Arola May 17, 2012 11:25 PM (in response to Creative1977)You might try one of the following scripts instead of using save for web in an action:
Image Processor Pro 2.2.8
http://russellbrown.com/scripts.html
Picture Processor:
http://www.scriptsrus.talktalk.net/
I'm not sure that you can get the save for web not to show that replace dialog, if you trying to save over files of the same name.

Jeff Arola May 17, 2012 11:51 PM (in response to Creative1977)Actually that might work in cs5.
Did you try recording a new save for web action in cs5?
