I totally undertand you, i'm a graphic designer and i'm building a site for a friend, i thought it woulf be easier with Catalyst, but i'm having some problems like:
Page doesn't fit to browser;
Can't add music in the background;
Just accept Photoshop file with maxximun of 40mb;
I'm using a 3d animation as intro, encoding them to flv/f4v make the quality down, would be good if FC could use external video from YT or Vimeo.
I have to learn how to work with Flash Builder to solve those problems, more work than i thought it would be.
Exactly, my dear juviesi.
To create a little more complex sites we have to learn to program in Flash Builder - even if only a few lines. The Flash Catalyst' idea is great, no doubt, but I hope that Adobe will facilitate futher the life of graphic designers in future version of this software.
Actually, it is cool that you can take a project into FB4 and add some extra functionality. But then you hit the wall when you try to open your FXP project back into Catalyst and add more visual components. Currently, this is not possible, which is too bad.
