As I note in my books, Smart Fix will only launch if the clips or photos you're adding have been Auto Analyzed in the Organizer before you
add them to your timeline.
If you don't want to Auto Analyze all of your clips, you can also select them in the Organizer Photo Browser, right-click and select the option to manually Auto Analyze them.

Oh dear! That did work, when I ticked the box, but now it has again ceased to work.
Sounds like you clicked the Do Not Show Again box last time you closed the box!
No, it is still ticked, which I assume it should be.
It is once again working? I might have a faulty program, Sometimes the box showed, sometimes it did not.
Interesting, if I right click on some video clips from Organizer and send to Premiere 8, this is what occurred, sometimes the Smart Fix box would appear, sometimes not.
If however, I opened the clips from Permiere, then highlighted and dragges them across, then the Smart Fix box has, so far, always appeared. Curious.
