I am trying to read a document, however whenever the lowercase "F" and the lowercase "L" appear together in it they don't show up at all. I have been told by the author of the document that I need to update my reader, however after an uninstall and a fresh installing of Reader 9.3.3 I still have the same problem. They suggested that I update my font library, however I have no idea how to do that.
Is there a place I can go to edit the fonts that Adobe can display? Is it just the windows default space? I ask because when I highlight the text and copy it into a word document the "F" and "L" display just fine, however word converts them to Times New Roman (and I am sure that the font in the document isn't in Times new Roman.)
Thanks in advance
Sounds more like they are not properly (completely) embedding their fonts and your system is substituting. Not really an issue on your end but rather on theirs.
