    Books on Flex

Which books about Flex do you recommend and why?

Or maybe there's no need for books

      because the documentation http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flex/using/index.html

contains everything a developer would ever need?

The O'Reilly books are pretty good on almost any subject.

I used "Hello! Flex 4" to get myself up and running and I also have the "Flash Builder 4 and Flex 4 Bible" to use as a reference. If you just want to get started with basic projects and a quick introduction to working with Flex, I definitely recommend "Hello! Flex 4" as a great place to start...it's small, easy to read and covers the basics without going so in-depth that you're completely lost if you're new to Flex.

The O'Reilly Flex 4 Cookbooks are also helpful.  They provide "recipes" for many common needs, and you can one-off the recipes to fit many other problems....

              Good luck...
