[JS][CS3] Auto running a script on a different Mac

      HI.

I have a script that I need to run on a remote (same network) mac.

My solution is a bit messy, and does not work correctly on a remote mac, but I will detail it here, with the hope of someone suggesting a better option.

      1) Using XCode, I have created an Applescript project that will create a .txt (Shell script) file in a folder.

      2) Using Automator, I have made a folder action to run a Javascript (do Script) to do the main script.

      3) The Javascript deletes the txt file.

This works fine testing on my Mac, but the folder action doesn't seem to work when the Watched Folder is on a server.

It does seem like a messy way to do what I want to do, so I am looking for a more elegant way (that works over a network) to do this.

Can I use an event monitoring function in InDesign itself? If so, can someone give me some pointers!

Looking forward to some helpful suggestions...
