I have a prototype in FW CS5 of an app that will serve too different audiences. These audiences require me to put data relevant to their workflow in the prototype & they have different worklows. To accomodate this need I am putting the data (screen grabs of Excel) for each audience in a separate layer on each page & hidding & showing those layers before I export to HTML & CSS.
This makes the exporting of a new prototype very labor intensive because I have to hide & show layers on each of my 35 pages before the export. If I'm distracted, I miss one sometimes.
Is there any way to automate the hiding & showing of layers on all pages based on the names of the layers?
I think the easiest thing would be to have a separate prototype for each audience. Barring that I'd use a parent layer fir each audience. Then place sublayers inside those parent layers. Share the parent layer to the desired pages depending on the audience.
