How to Kill a Request in CF8?

I have a few requests in my application that show as running for well over a million seconds and I'm trying to kill them, but when I click the red (!) icon and say that yes, I want to abort that request, nothing happens. The request is still there. I am rewriting these processes, but am looking to stop the request in the meantime.

Is this a bug, or is this outside the scope of the server monitor's capabilities, or am I just doing it wrong? If nothing else, I can restart CF services later tonight.

There are some threads that you just cannot kill. They'll go into a state waiting for data to get returned from somewhere or something and you can't kill them.

Doesn't matter if you're using the built in monitor or something like FusionReactor.

You've got to restart CF.
