    DynamicStreamResource without Bitrates


      I'm working on upgrading an OVP player to OSMF.

      However, I've found that OVP did not require bitrates to be known before creating a Dynamic Stream, and OSMF now requires it.

      I've spoofed the bitrates for each stream to 1000,2000,etc (and tried 1/2/3..) and I'm getting stuttering playback performance issues.

      I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to get the bitrates without a serious re-writing of some .NET code that provides the embed code for the player.


      Is there a way to get around this?
