Tried different ways, something like below, which I could have done easily in other scripting languages (say Perl etc):

From AppleScript you would NOT script the 'Terminal' app but use 'do shell script' command so you can either use app.doScript() using AppleScript to call the shell or you can have 'Photoshop' or 'Bridge' do app.system() but you will need to send a 'bridgeTalk' message to do this…
