... says my program isn't activated (!!!????)
Adobe Reader does not require activation. What program are you talking about?
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.1 and I am unable to create PDF documents or
print existing ones that I previously created. I recently had some driver
issues (Bluetooth and Dell Printer) that had to be corrected and I'm
assuming that process created this problem with Adobe. I have no idea what
to do to correct it.
When I open the program or a PDF document that is saved on my computer, it
closes automatically. When I try to create a PDF I get a message saying,
"Adobe PDF cannot be created because Acrobat is not activated."
Any ideas? I appreciate your willingness to help.
I do not know such a product; I know of
- Adobe Reader
- Adobe Acrobat Standard
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Adobe Acrobat Extended
Can you check Help | About Adobe ... to find the exact product you have?
P.S. please also specify your operating system.
It's Adobe Acrobat Standard and it appears that I have corrected the
problem. I was able to go into the help menu and repair the Acrobat
installation so now it's working again.
Thank you for your efforts to help me.
