You can set the window to Large Thumbnails, right top corner.
Dont know why it is set to 14:9. Do you use different formats?
When I set the logo Thumbnails to large they do not show the picture just a larger version of the icon.
I am using the still camera button under the viewing screen and the resulting 16x9 picture file, for example jpeg, is distorted and must be resized.
It sounds like the PAR is coming through at 1.0 (Square) and not 1.212, which is what Widescreen 16:9 should be. You should be able to use Interpret Footage, or correct the PAR in Photoshop. Seems that Ann commented on similar in CS4, where the PAR for both 4:3 and 16:9 was being picked up, when Exporting a Frame. Way back in PrPro 2.0, the PAR always came through perfectly, at least for me.
Good luck, and not sure why your JPEG's are not showing. Are you sure that you chose Thumbnail View and not Icon View?
I can view thumnails in the window. So something is not quite right.
You ar probably looking at a jpeg with square pixels which is normal.
If you import the still into Premiere it automaticly interpretes it to 16:9.
How do you get into thumbnail view?
All I see are icons large small etc.
First, in View change from List to Icon, and then in Thumbnail, choose Large. Allow a moment for the folder to populate.
