I'm writing a book using Open Office Writer that includes screenshots (PNG images). I have my OpenOffice window zoomed at 100% and I'm using Lossless compression. My problem is that after I export to PDF, I need to zoom my PDF document to 107% in order to see the images at their original size. Any bigger or smaller than 107% and the images are distorted (text looks fine). What I'd like to do is keep a standard zoom of 100% and see the images clearly.
I'm on a Mac OS X, in case that helps.
Are you using Acrobat to create the pdf files? If not, then there is little we can do to help. If you are using Acrobat, please repost in the Acrobat forum stating what job options settings you are using as well as which version of Acrobat.
