    better way to change rgb but preserve alpha

      sometimes i write long bender code only to find out that it really should be oneliner. I have a feeling this situation is not exception,

       

      i.e.

      float a = p4.a;

      p4 = sample(...);

      p4.a = a;

       

      is there better way?
