At what point do my drives need to be defragged?
What are the files with really long names appearing as "system volume information"? And why are they in my media drive? I normally see them in my C drive. One of them is 75 GB.
I guess they call it a shadow volume? Anyway, they started showing up in my media drive and taking up a lot of space. How do I send them back to C drive?
On other disks than your C: drive you can remove all the System Volume Information directories.
