ADE and Kindle

Is there any way to convert

an ePub ebook, downloaded with A

DE, in PDF, so that I can tranfer the ebook on Kindle reader?

From what I understand--not if it has any type of DRM associated with it.  This is the main reason why I did not purchase the Kindle.  Kindle doesn't let you read digital books that you can check out from the library.  If it doesn't have a DRM associated with it, I believe you can simply convert to pdf and read on kindle.
