I'm just learning how to use FW. I'd like to create a slideshow for the opening page of my webpages. I'm following a tutorial but hit a snag almost right out of the gate. I'm in Win7 btw.
1. Command> create slideshow
2. Click the "+" sign next to Albums
3. Choose the image files to include in the slideshow (I get a "files to process" dialogue with "current open files" or "custom" choices . . . neither actually seems to import images, or allow me to choose a folder with images, or allow me to choose an individual image)
This is where I hit my snag -- any help appreciated!
Yes, thank you. I've done the tutorial and this has resolved some issues that were not addressed in the previous instructions I was following.
Now I have another question . . . is there a way to make the slideshow photos larger? They are pretty tiny on my large screen. If you can direct me to another tutorial on how to do this, I'd appreciate it. I love how Fireworks transforms the shape of the canvas . . . when I was trying to do this in Flash I had to create one size "canvas" and then make sure all of my photos were cropped to the same size and shape.
This changes according to the photo . . . but can I get the display larger?
Also, I'm still not sure how to get this slildeshow onto the web in my Dreamweaver site??
Thanks for any help!
