Sorry have a holder of fuji s200 exr and I am very disappointed by adobe.
Also in this REALISE not give support to S200EXR even if it is out nearly a year, but you're going to add it or not?
Unable to install on both an XP and Vista system, getting same error "Error loading Updater Workflow" ......
Version 6.1. made PSE crash when you clicked on "about this plugin". Not a big bug but I hope it got fixed.
Unable to install on 27" i5 Imac running OS C 10.6.4. Download works OK and installer "seems" to install the program. But, the ONLY copy of "Adobe DNG Converter" I can find in my Applications folder, or by using Spotlight is version 6.1. Not 6.2 or "RC 6.2." Help.
Can you please try to remove the old version (DNG converter 6.1) and run the installer again? Thanks
I followed your suggestion and deleted the Adobe DNG Converter.app" version 6.1 from my Mac AND emptied the trash. I downloaded again the 6.2 update and ran it. This time it IMMEDIATELY said it was successfully installed without displaying the installation progress bar it had shown before. The 6.2 version is nowhere on my boot drive. Help again.
Do you have multiple volumes? Have you done a search for the DNG converter?
Can you please reinstall Photoshop CS5 on this machine and then try installing 6.2 again?
Please let us know if that works.
I do have several volumes. Including one Time machine backup and one bootable (Super Duper) backup. I've use Spotlight and made visual inspections of all three Applications folders. There are NO copies of Adobe DNG Converter.app version 6.2.
Maybe I should just wait for the final version to be released. My digital cameras are already covered in version 6.2.
I would recomend not to wait till the patch is live rather get that resolved now, so that we are sure that your update from live works.
Can you please verify if OOBE folder is present in Program Files\Commo
n Files\Adobe\ folder?
If not, can you please reinstall the CS5 product in order to get that folder and then try installing 6.2 again?
I am running a Mac, not Windows. I'm running an Oct 2009 27" i5 iMac with 8 GB of memory an ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics card with 512MB and OS X 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard.)
I did a Spotlight Search and cannot find any file or folder called "OOBE."
Is you suggestion valid for a Mac system such as mine?
I have the entire Adobe Creative Suite Premium CS5. I'm a graphics designer and have a lot of plugins, actions, etc. Uninstalling and reinstalling all of this is a major job. I really don't want to do it unless I'm very sure it will fix the problem. Even then, I'm not sure I want all the hassle of reinstalling everything just to have the latest version of DNG. (I already have DNG version 6.1.)
I have two Canon 40Ds, so at the present time, I could care less about new cameras in DNG. My only interest in it was the possibility of better algorithms for processing the images. (In addition to making my living as a graphics designer, both my wife and I are serious amateur photographers.)
Please let me know what you think.
With your cameras and workflow I do not believe you will see any real benefit from using the 6.2 DNG Converter. As you mentioned, if you had a new camera supported only in 6.2, yes, you'd want to get the new version.
In addition to bug fixes, the primary feature of 6.2 that may benefit you are the new lens profiles included for Canon lenses you may use. Lens profiles are used in the Camera Raw plugin (or Lightroom), however, not when converting a file to DNG. Have you been able to successfully install the 6.2 beta plugin?
We would still like to get to the bottom of the failure you've experienced. If there are some troubleshooting procedures we can try (short of having you reinstall the whole Creative Suite!) can we contact you directly? If so, please send me an E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org (dfranzen "at" adobe "dot" com).
Thanks for your patience,
I would also be interested in when we can expect support for the Fuji S200EXR
