Your question is not fully clear...Will you please elaborate on this..???
What exactly do you want to acheive..??
We have a flex application. When we run the application default preloader will be loaded. I want to know when this is loaded in our application. How can we determine that default preloader has started running using our application page(Main page).ie(Before initialsation of our application or after) how?

I dont think we can capture this event in our application when preloader starts running...why because the application is loaded and the functions in your main application will be called only after the application swf is downloaded completely and during this time Flex application shows the default peloader.
During this period when preloader is visible what the flex application is actually doing is it is downloading the app swf file over the internet and only after
the swf is downloaded the events or function in the main application are called.
The flex preloader is in the control of Flex systemManager classs which is the top level class for all the Display Objects.
However I think if you override the default Flex preloader by assigning the CustomPreloader class in the preloader attribute of the application file you can capture this....But I am not sure about it...
Thanks very much for your reply.
