I'm writting an application that needs to encode jpeg images. The fastest library I found is alchemy jpeg encoder. Unfortunaltely the compiled library has memory leak and I have to compile it's source that is enclosed under "update 2" header.
Solution 1: Could anyone who managed to install alchemy compile this library for me?
Solution 2: Could anyone who managed to install alchemy help me witch installation on my own machine? I tried to follow "getting started" steps but on Windows nothing goes like it should from the beginning and on Ubuntu it seems go to better but when I try to compile alchemy sample siply nothing happens: no output files, no errors.
I'm stucked and have no idea what to do next. Thanks for any help.
Might check out ZaaLabs recent release.
Finally, I managed to install alchemy but... compiled alchemy jpeg encoder doesn't work - it terminates my application with "launch failed" message. I suppose it's some c code issue which I'm going to take a look at.
It seem that ZaaLabs doesn't suport encoding yet.
I didn't notice that there is separate forum for alchemy so I wrote here. Would be cool if any moderator move this post there.
