You can programatically capture this by using the systemManager class..
So if you open popup windows or an Alert window systemManager will track the count of modal windows..
if(systemManager.numModalWindows > 0)
If this post answers your question or helps, please kindly mark it as such.
I can get the count of modal windows using systemManager.numModalWindows.
That much I could do.
But I want to get a handle to the modalWindows so that I can get their children and perform operations on them.
For example, "OK" button is a button that is a child of Alert box.
So, I need o get a handle on the Alert Box, so that I can get to "OK" and click it.
Can you please tell me how I can accomplish this?
SystemManager.rawChildren() will give me all the windows including the main application,which I dont want.
Is there a way of getting only the modal windows?
I dont have time....I am leaving office...:)
Check these links it will be helpful...
I want to check for modal windows not PopUps.
Modal windows basically block user interaction with the parent window unless they(modal windows) are closed.
NumModal windows probably checks for only modal windows.
Can you tell me how I can get a handle to these?
I dont think PopUps are modal as they allow user intreaction with main window.
