Could have been quite interesting if they had properly recorded the audio so one could hear what was going on.

Yea; they lost credability for producing the event so poorly.
If you ask me; from how the "shootout" was described, this was a test of editors, not applications. Not much to learn there (except how not to mic a shoot.)
That was a chore to watch.

They didn't even upload in in HD
The focus was soft.
And like you said the audio was bad. Im guessing it was in camera.
I wish they had more than one camera.

I agree with you that it was more of the editor and not the software being used.
With all the effort they went to to put together the event it seems like it was a last minute idea to video it. lol
Audio sure makes a difference.
