It is only possible to embed assets at compile time only...that means the images are static, locally compiled and embedded into the application SWF itself.
But if you want to load the xml file which has various image urls and then embed them dynamically , its not possible as loading the xml is a run time operations and is done
after your application is compiled and you cannot do the embed runtime...since Embed works at compile time...
Hope you got my point..
Thanks the prompt reply.
Is it possible to call the swf files using WAR or any thing equivalent to that? The basic idea is to wrap everything like swf and its corresponding content in a format so that user have a single copy of the product and it can be modified by the user.
NOTE: The product needs to be played in offline mode so no net connectivity is required for fetching images and videos
I din't get you exactly as what is WAR ..??? Why do you want to wrap swf and its corresponding content in another format ..???
Please elaborate on this....
WAR is web archive .
Yes, I want to wrap the swf and its corresponding content into another format so that the user will have a single executable thing and that which cannot be edited by the user.
Even if not to other format but to a single swf file which have all swf files and its corresponding content associated with it .
