Is it possible to set it as "Editing Mode: Desktop" still, or do I need to create a new sequence and copy over the entire edited video?
Most sequence settings are "fixed" once it has been created. Just create a new sequence with the proper settings, copy your original sequence edits, and paste into the new one. You can do this in the same projet.
You could do it 2 ways
Create new desktop sequence and copy the contents of the sequence into it.... or you could export from the existing sequence.as per your requirement.
Does the original sequence match your source footage? If so... I would do the latter suggestion.
Okay, I just figured it out. I created a second sequence with the right dimensions, and then I just dragged the first sequence into the empty timeline directly. I didn't know you could move one sequence into another like that.
Thanks for the help, guys. Remember: If you need anything, I am the Bung Lord.
That method is called "nesting".
Very handy and powerful function.
If you actually need the files to manipulate at a clip level in the new sequence... copy and paste them in...instead.
