It's not Reader doing it. It's caused by Acess 2007. It isn't embedding the font information in tothe file. Open the PDF in Reader and go to File>Properties>Fonts. Does it say (embedded) next to the Myriad Pro fonts?
First off I'm using a PC, Windows XP. I'm creating a report in Access 2007 and saving it as a pdf. When I try to open it in Adobe Reader 9.3 the Myriad Pro fonts regular and bold have been changed to Adobe Sans MM. Myriad Pro is my Agency's standard so does anyone know a reason or a fix for this? Thanks!
It does not. It shows the Myriad Pro and Myriad Pro Bold but lists their actual fonr as Adobe Sans MM. Thanks for pointing me to the source. I'll check with some Access forums unless you know anything more I can do to embed the fonts. Thanks!

You need to use Acrobat. It has the ability to embed fonts that are used in the pdf files it creates.
I believe Access is using it's own PDF utility so you'd want to find an Access forum. If you had Acrobat, we could help out a little more.
