    Cropping to a circle

I have a square bitmap that I want to crop into a circle and save. Im not too great with Fireworks and if someone could help me out, that would be great.

      Thanks.

There is no such thing as a circular image on the web. There are
rectangular ones that look like a circle, though. The way to do that would
be to superimpose a white circle on the image so that the desired content of
the image is within the white region, and then to apply that circle to the
image as a mask, by selecting both and using MODIFY | Group as Mask.

First, draw a circle in Fireworks. Next, position the picture you want over the circle, and adjust the size and position of the picture as you see fit. Now cut the image (CTRL + X). Now simply click your circle to highlight it, then click "EDIT" at the top, and choose "Paste Inside". All done!
